Screwfix have taken a 10 year lease on a 6,910 sq ft newly refurbished former Grahams unit at Island Street in Galashiels, located across from B&Q and adjoining McDonalds. The remaining unit of 4,520 sq ft has been let to Easy Bathrooms who are currently fitting out.
Kingsmead were appointed by the Co-op to redevelop their existing store in Kemnay, Aberdeenshire. The 6,039 sq ft store maximises the tight site by locating the back of house facilities at first floor thereby freeing up the ground floor for retail sales.
Kingsmead is working in partnership with Northumberland based Blagdon Estate to deliver an exciting mixed retail and leisure scheme at South Beach in Blyth. Construction of the first phase is now complete and fully let comprising a Coop convenience store, Greggs, Saltrock, Caffe Ginevra amongst others. A planning application has been submitted for Phase 2 including hotel, gastro pub and retail pods and is currently awaiting determination.
