Kingsmead works across a variety of sectors including retail, leisure & housing.
Kingsmead Developments was formed in 1994 by Stuart Hall, following a number of years working in retail acquisition at Texas Homecare, B&Q and Shoprite Group. With financial backing from Leeds based family property company Henry Lax Ltd, the business initially focussed solely on the delivery of occupier led retail and leisure projects but has since diversified into the housing sector, working in partnership with social housing contractor developers and managing large housing sites for private landowner clients. Development management roles have been provided to Scottish Canals involving the promotion of heritage assets and regeneration opportunities and to Northumberland based Blagdon Estate for a high profile mixed use retail and leisure development.
